SIOBHAN LACEY-CHOW
IMpower was founded by Siobhan Lacey-Chow, a former Corporate Executive, Leader, Changemaker, and Passionate Entrepreneur, who has faced her fair share of life-changing adversities. The idea for IMpower was born out of her personal lived experiences. In her search for connection, while navigating through these adversities, it inspired within her, to create a platform and build a Community - IMpower, where others could come together, offer support and share resources with one another. These transformative, lived-experiences, spearheaded Siobhan to realize the importance of having a support system during times of adversity, and her intention to provide that for others. They continually serve, as yet another reminder, to live the gift of life to its fullest and to be the change she wishes to see in the World.
A DEFINING MOMENT
One defining moment that solidified the need for IMpower, was Her own brush with Cancer. However, it was a life-changing car accident, a decade ago, that truly set the wheels in motion for IMpower. The accident deemed catastrophic, along with the sustained multiple injuries – leaving her to learn on her own – how to re-build her physical, cognitive and emotional abilities again.
It ignited a fire within Siobhan to create a massive impact and inspire others to do the same - to serve and IMpower others, to be IMpowered, to conquer their own life adversities, with a healthy mind, body and soul connection. She was able to and continues to, create, curate and bring to fruition, the life that she truly desires, most authentic to Her, on this journey she calls life.
As an Advocate for Mental Health, through Inspirational Speaking, Podcast Interviews, Published Features and other various Global Outlets, Initiatives and Corporate Collaborations, Siobhan shares her triumphant and thought-provoking life-journey thus far, with her game-changing tool box and successful step-by-step strategies. Her intriguing lived experiences, goes to show that if she can do it, then she just proved it can be done, and anything is possible when you put your mind to it!

Alongside these initiatives, the intentional creation of the IMpower Community, where like-minded individuals can come together and support one another to do the same, was born. The IMpower Community not only provides a space for individual growth, but also, to support one another and each other's Community’s.

Today, Siobhan and the IMpower Family stand proud in celebrating ten years of IMpower and counting. We have made a difference in the lives of many and continue to do so every day. As Meghan Markle once said, "The dream is to create something that will endure for generations." And that is what IMpower will continue to do, with the help and support of our incredible evolving and flourishing Community, of like-minded Leaders, Changemakers and Passionate Entrepreneurs. So let's come together, share our experiences and IMpower each other, to make a positive impact in the World. As a Community, we can support and uplift each other, in our personal and professional journeys. We can learn from one another, share knowledge and resources, and collaborate to make a bigger impact in the World.
At IMpower, we believe that everyone has the power to create positive change. It starts with IMpowering ourselves through self-awareness, self-care, self-patience and self-love. From there, we can extend that IMpowerment to others and create a ripple effect of change.
